Part one of a two-part documentary about networks of underground tunnels built on the front lines in the First World War.

During World War One, a barbaric war was fought deep beneath the trenches, in a maze of tunnels and dugouts over 10 metres underground.

Hi , I wonder if theres any chance of finding out who made this documentary. In it they mention a quote by an Arthur Martin (a tunneler) my grandfather was a sapper Royal Engineers and was a tunneler named Arthur Martin. After researching on line I have found very little about him. This may be a quote from him and I would be interested to know if it was from a diary or a letter.
I would be really grateful if anyone can help me.

    Many thanks.
