Life in Soweto is tough enough for humans let alone horses. But one man is on a mission to help them. Enos Mafokate overcame all odds as a black rider to become one of the country’s leading equestrians. Now he works with animal charities to help overworked and abused horses. “To me, they’re not animals, they’re people,” he explains.
