A crumbling hotel on a small island in the Thames was the epicentre of a new music explosion in the 1960s. Situated in South-West London and cut off from the mainstream by a footbridge, Eel Pie Islandbecame a thriving community of musicians and hippies looking to redefine music as we know it. Giants of the industry including the Rolling Stones, the Who, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac and Rod Stewart cut their teeth at the venue before going on to global stardom. Integrating archive footage and interviews with musicians and fans who were there, this is the ultimate retelling of a forgotten cornerstone of BritishRock music history.
